Essential Oils for hair can help your hair grow fast, reduce
dandruff and hair loss, and minimize symptoms of alopecia areta.
Do you feel that great, healthy looking hair is for you?
Did you know that:
How our hair looks, feels, and grows can change
based on:
- What we put on it meaning synthetic shampoos, conditioners, gels, etc.
- What we eat and drink meaning what we put in our bodies comes out of through our hair as well
- What we do like swimming in a chlorinated pools, using hair dryers without a proper heat protectant, etc.
- The quality of our shower water: I suggest using a shower filter for best results to remove fluoride, chlorine, iron oxide in other words “rust”, reduce harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Chemicals) and other contaminants.
- Genetics you know what our parents were passed down and what was passed down to us…
- How much sleep we get nightly
- Other health conditions such as thyroid, hormones, poor circulation, ect.
So my advice to you is, in
addition to using the oils, review that list and determine if there is
something else you need to do to support your hair. This may be as simple as
drinking more water.
Also did you know that most
shampoos, hair and skin care products on the market contain synthetic materials
that create many of our hair, scalp and skin problems?
- Propylene Glycol – inhibits skin cell growth; causes rashes, dry skin and skin irritation
- Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Laureth Sulfate – surfactant that corrodes hair follicles, impairs ability to grow hair and causes inflammation of skin
- Oleyl Bentaine – causes dry hair, dandruff and dry scalp
- Mineral Oil – petroleum products clogs pores
- Parabens - can mimic the hormone estrogen, which is known to play a role in the development of breast cancers.
So check your labels.. You will be
surprised!!
There are plenty of natural
shampoos on the market.. Look around If you know of some let us know..
If you are the adventurous type
make them at home by using a base shampoo and adding oils that are right for
your hair type (normal, dry, and oily) or condition. You can add 3-5 drops of
